Financial conflict of interest in research (FCOIR) information disclosed and/or maintained by the University of Oregon is kept confidential to the extent permitted and required by sponsor requirements and the law.    

• Pursuant to federal regulations (42 C.F.R. Part 50, Subpart F), the University may disclose information about an individual investigator's financial conflict of interest with a specific sponsored research project.  
• Requests for information about a specific financial conflict should be submitted to FCOIR@uroegon.edu, and include enough information to allow Research Compliance Services (RCS) to determine the specific investigator and sponsored project for which information is being requested, such as the investigator name, the project title, and project sponsor. RCS will issue a written response to the requestor within 5 business days of receiving the request.
