Public Access to Information

Information disclosed in accordance with the Conflict of Interest, Conflict of Commitment, and Outside Activities Policy and the Financial Conflict of Interest in Research Policy is kept confidential to the extent permitted by law and by federal funding agencies.

Under federal regulation 42 C.F.R. Part 50, Subpart F, the UO may disclose information about an investigator's financial conflict of interest with a specific sponsored research project. Requests for information must include the specific investigator's name and enough information for staff to identify the sponsored research project, such as the funding agency and project title.

Responses to requests for information may take up to five business days.
